Digimon Zodiac: Ryan and Nivamon

Okay, okay, I kinda lazed out a bit with this one, with Ryan's hands in his hoodie pockets. I just couldn't be bothered with hands.

_{Really, is it obvious that I don't have as much fun with male characters as I do with female ones?}

Anyway, Ryan and Nivamon.

Personality:
Ryan is a bit more serious and cautious than his friends. He doesn’t like to run into anything without thinking it through first. He’s a good worker and always strives to finish anything he starts in the shortest time he can.

He’s sensible, likes to be organised and is normally the one to plan meetings with the team. He is fairly low-key and doesn’t like to attract too much attention to himself as he doesn’t like to be in the spotlight. As such, he hates anything where he has to give presentations or any kind of public speaking.

Not much of an outdoor person, Ryan prefers to be inside, either in his own apartment, a friend’s place, shopping centre, as long as it’s inside. He really only goes outside as much as he does because of Nivamon. Most of the time he ends up having a good time playing with Nivamon, though.

Family:
Ryan is an only child. He lives on his own with Nivamon in a small apartment in the city. His parents died in a car crash a long time ago and he ended up living with his aunt who still lives in the suburbs.

Background:
Ryan’s parents died in a car crash when he was only young. He ended up in the care of his aunt, whom he liked, but wasn’t sure if he could accept her as his new mother. Ryan was normally a fairly happy, talkative and social child, but the death of his parents caused him to become more reclusive and unresponsive. It wasn’t until Garimon’s DigiEgg appeared and hatched out, giving him something to take his mind off what happened.

As he grew, Ryan never wanted to leave Garimon anywhere and always insisted that he go with him. They were pretty much inseparable. Ryan would go so far as to smuggle Garimon into his school bag. This finally stopped when Ryan reached high school.

He and the evolved Itachimon eventually moved into a small apartment, being the most affordable one he Ryan could find.

Random Facts:
~ He doesn’t like to eat red meat. He loves chicken and fish, though.
~ He gets terrible hay fever in the spring and summer. He’s always got anti-histamine on him, just in case.
~ He doesn’t like hot weather. He’s fine with mild warmth, but once it gets past around 24 or 25 degrees, he starts to feel uncomfortable and will seek out shade.
~ He actually doesn’t like living right in the city and would much rather live in a house in the suburbs.
~ As much as he loves Nivamon, he doesn’t like that the weasel likes to play tricks on him.

Attacks:
~ Tunnel Tremor: Nivamon tunnels underground toward the opponent. When underneath them, he triggers a tremor.

~ Leaf Cutter: Nivamon summons an innumerable amount of leaves that fly at the opponent. These leaves are razor sharp.

Personality:
Nivamon is full of energy and enthusiasm. He’s very excitable, always running around and wanting to play. This can sometimes get on Ryan’s nerves when he’s trying to work on something, though. Nivamon hates being cooped up in such a small place, so Ryan takes him out whenever he can so he can run around as much as he wants (without being seen, of course). Nivamon can be a bit of a trickster, as well, especially when he’s bored. Sometimes Ryan ends up at the end of his pranks, much to his frustration.

Another Digimon who relies on speed rather than his physical strength, Nivamon likes to dart around opponents to try and confuse them. With his sharp claws, he burrows underground to cause small quakes, maybe even weaken the ground under the opponent so they’ll fall through.

Random Facts:
~ His claws are so strong; he can even dig through concrete.
~ He likes to dig for the fun of it. He likes the challenge of digging through surfaces like concrete, but he’s never allowed to.
~ One of his favourite tricks is the old school hiding and jumping out at people to scare them. He’ll also climb onto high places to jump from and tunnel underground, and bursting out from the ground yelling “Pop goes the weasel!”
~ He’ll eat almost anything thrown at him so long as it’s edible and not off. There are times where he does slip and ends up rather sick.

Ummumm, I have one more of these to do for now. There are another couple of teams, but I still need to figure out their roles and they probably wouldn't appear in the story for awhile, anyway.
